  • #1 Novice Obedience Dog (all breeds) for 2003, First and Foremost Ranking System, 219 points.
  • #1 Novice Obedience Dog (all breeds) for 2003,  Delany Ranking System, 521 points.
Flash Tunnel Agility Flash earned his first agility title, NJP (Novice Jumpers Preferred) at 14 months of age, all with perfect scores of 100. At 17 months he had finished the NAP (Novice Agility Preferred), the OAP (Open Agility Preferred) and the OJP (Open Jumpers Preferred) and had earned two legs on his AJP (Agility Excellent Jumpers Preferred).

Flash was moved up to his full jump heights at 19 months of age. He earned his NA, NAJ, OA, OAJ, AX and AXJ titles and four legs on his MX in a four month period and finished his MX and MXJ on the same day in June 2004, still only two years old. 

Kim & Flash winning Open to finish CDX Flash's debuted in obedience at 15 months of age with a 1st place, score of 197.5, in Novice B and a High in Trial.  He earned 1st placements for all three title legs and accumulated 33 qualifying scores in Novice in 2003 with an average score of 195.8, high scores of 198.5 and two HITs to become the #1 Ranked Novice Obedience Dog of 2003 in two different ranking systems (detailed below).

Flash earned his CDX in Summer 2005, all with placements (3rd leg photo to left).

Flash also competes at the Rally Excellent level.

NATIONAL RANKINGS for 2003:

  • #1 dog of all breeds in AKC Novice A&B combined obedience for 2003, First and Foremost Ranking System, 219 points. (Front and Finish, July 2004, pg. 56).
  • #1 dog of all breeds in AKC Novice A&B combined obedience for 2003, Delany Ranking System, 521 points. (Front and Finish; posted on-line 6-27-04.
  • Ranked #12 Sheltie nationwide in all classes combined, based on the number of dogs defeated. (Sheltie Pacesetter; May/June 2004 issue).

NATIONAL RANKINGS for 2002:

  • Included in the HIT Rating System (High in Trials). (Front & Finish Magazine, 2003).
